It is listed on the Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney's plant list so may be there's one there.

Mountain coconut palms grow OK here, close to Sydney. There's a very large one growing in a local nursery.

What about growing in a greenhouse in the very best spot, then eight years or so later gradually remove the greenhouse. I would try that.

There's a lot of things grown in the Sydney gardens that shouldn't grow in Sydney but it's a very ideal micro climate

JohnMac .....tiny fruits on Parajubaea torallyi, commonly known as the Palma De Pasobaya or Bolivian Mountain Coconut, is a species of evergreen flowering plant of genus Parajubaea, may make a shot glass of milk with 100 fruits after 20 years growth....
Now if it would just be a bit easier to germinate (takes up to 2 years for a seed to 'pop').
