8/10Gary2's Edible FruitsUpdate: 5024 days 13hrs Comments: - I would love to grow licorice. Licorice root is a favorite additive for teas to add a touch of sweetness. It is very versatile medicinally also, I believe that it assists me greatly to ward off the common cold or at minimum reduce its longevity. Licorice root was instrumental in my successful bid to give up smoking (12 months now) I imported whole licorice root from england which come from Turkey. I cut it into 40mm lengths (about 8mm diameter) and always kept some in my pocket. I would pull it out and chew on it as a healthy alternative to picking up a smoke. worked for me.
