The first NectaPlum%uFFFD from Zaiger Genetics: a white-fleshed, nectarine-peach-plum hybrid. Skin is dark maroon at fruit set, and turns pale pink when ripe. Fully ripe fruit is unparalled in flavor, and both nectarine and plum traits are easily detectable. Very productive tree is also quite ornamental. Tremendous purplish pink bloom in the spring, followed by a flourish of red leaves which mature into lush green in late summer.

2016 had 20--25 nice quality fruit 2017, looking good and has close to 30 fruit

SEASON 2109-20, ONLY HANDFUL OF FRUIT SET, NOT SURE WHY , MAY BE LATE FROST IN SEPT 2019 COULD BE THE CAUSE.

Moved to New Location in front. Had 2 Delicious Nectarines This year (14 Jan 2014), Looks Like May be its not fantasia could be May grand.

Doing ok in new location . in 2016 has 30 nectarines of it... Grafted may grand, arctic rose and spize zee on it in 2017 to extend harvest time

Comments: - Good tasting fruit, although not much due to tree being significantly affected by leaf curl when bought from Sydney nursery. Now using spray to control this problem at time of bud burst, and it seems to be working. Almost no leaves affected by leaf gall in 2013. However, sprayed too late in 2014 and so the tree was very badly affected by leaf gall and got no fruit. But in 2015 all the leaves were badly affected by leaf curl in spite of fungicide spray at budburst. So not very happy with this tree. Again no edible fruit in 2016. So have removed this tree.

Comments: - I love the vibrant colours of the leaves. Purchased from Daleys (bare root) in Sept 2012. Plant was very healthy and flowered and set fruit soon afterwards. However, the plant did not receive much wind protection and all the fruits were lost.

Has already produced lovely good sized very sweet fruit. 

August 2009:  Some flowers.  Pruned the tree.

September 2009:  More flowers and young green leaves starting to appear.  Applied sulphate of potash and watered in.  Introduced fly trap.

October 2009:  Lots of growth observed.

November 2009:  Lots more leaves.

December 2009 to March 2010:  No fruit but lots more growth recorded.

February 2012: Very healthy but fruit were rendered totally inedible by fruit fly.  Will take necessary steps next season to enjoy the lovely sweet nectarines.
