Tropical apricot - Eugenia myrcianthes (Seedling) 2/10Potty Bob 1's Edible FruitsUpdate: 1864 days 18hrs Comments: - Sounds nice , should get fruit 2019/20 ,lost flowers last year as I planted it from a large pot . Update 28/10/19 produced one apricot looking fruit that I had bagged till it dropped ripe . Tasted horrid , sweet with a tart tropical fruit taste ( mango/apricot ) juicy, and a strong pungent garlic flavour that is so bad that I can't believe this was sold to me as a fruit tree ,it's yuck . However I will give it another year to see if fruit improves . I did not buy this from Daleys.
