how is your jack fruit tree doing now? i was just up in brisbane at my friends property. He had several jackfruit trees and the fruit and tree were big. Would be amazing if you got them to grow and fruit down here

Love to know if this Jack fruit cv has flowered or fruited for you yet?

This is self pollinating, so your "Pollination: No" is really not right.

Jakfruit - Brinsmead Special (Grafted)

Edward3's Edible Fruits
Update: 2342 days 24hrs

Comments: -

Wanted to try a crisp grafted variety from Daleys, seeing that our own seedlings were doing quite well in Sydney.

During several days of rain in 2019, the bottom of the trunk got attacked by a white powdery fungus, so the tree is not growing well at present. Painted this area with copper fungicide to try and save the tree. Unfortunately, the tree did not survive the drought and heat wave conditions in 2020.

Jakfruit - Brinsmead Special (Grafted) 9/10

Markmelb's Edible Fruits
Update: 2665 days 3hrs

Comments: -

Planted Late December 2014 - Growing amazingly well in its Microclimate over shaded by pea eggplants for shade protection - doesnt like it too hot - tends to wilt and wants more water when this occurs - Updat March 2019 - I think it was getting root rot issues so put back in a pot in spring 2017 and is looking better now in 3/2019

Planted: 2014

Growing: In the Ground

Sun/Shade: Low Sun

Pollination: Cross Pollination

Question:

3rd pic Jan 28 2016 - gave heat from a 5watt brewers pad under frost cloth over winter

is growing slow but ok.
