My Edible Fruit Trees: Walnut Trees NSW
Walnut - English (Grafted) 7/10![]() Update: 2508 days 23hrs Comments: - var. Chandler. While I got walnuts from this plant, I never really got it to grow well. It ended up with a root rot fungus which I successfully eliminated but it never was happy in a pot. My recommendation is that although you can grow them in Sydney, its best to plant these trees in the ground. I ended up giving this plant to someone who has the room to let it grow. The closely related pecans, though, are doing well in their pots. Walnut - seedlingSimplersJoy1's Edible FruitsUpdate: 5636 days 9hrs Comments: - Planted on nature strip to give it space to become a larger tree and keep away from other trees and veg which may be inhibited by it. In hot dry position so may struggle but seems happy so far. Going to focus on creating a good watering solution for it Growing: In the Ground Qty: 1 Was this review helpful?
