Passionfruit - Red Flowered (Grafted) 10/10

Kate816's Edible Fruits
Update: 703 days 4hrs

Comments: - This beautiful passionfruit vine is a different looking vine to the panama varieties I have, the leaves start brown when unfurling before lightening to a pleasent green. Very healthy, I bought on clearance from Bunnings in very poor health. It is now robust and dense and thriving. Very happy with this plant!

Passionfruit - Panama Perfection 10/10

Kate816's Edible Fruits
Update: 703 days 4hrs

Comments: -

Absolutely thriving, holy smokes, I planted this in a raised bed with three other passionfruit varieties thinking "see how they go", bought them on clearance in poor health. Well. Now they are overtaking the fence and so very bushy and dense and healthy. A much prettier sight than the bare wire fence. We are thrilled. So easy to grow!

Passionfruit - Panama Red (Seedling)

1010501's Edible Fruits
Update: 1223 days 4hrs

Comments: -

Plant arrived in Feb 2020 in great condition with soil still damp. Will plant this into a pot after 1-2 weeks outside and provide updates.

May 2020 - The vines have been growing well. No flowers to date. We will see how it copes with winter in Toowoomba - may have to bring it inside on cool nights.

September 2021 - Survived outside in Toowoomba winter, however has not yet fruited. In 25L planter bag - perhaps needs to be in the ground,

Plant arrived in in Feb 2020 in great condition with soil still damp. Will plant this into a pot after 1-2 weeks outside and provide updates.

May 2020 - Has been growing well, flowered a few times in Apr/May, yet to set a fruit.  We will see how it copes with winter in Toowoomba - may have to bring it inside on cool nights.

September 2021 - In 25L pot. Set many fruit, however dropped them all and lost all leaves over winter (Toowoomba). Brought plant inside every night last year, but did not this year. Currently appears dead.

Panama gold seedling (purchased same time) have not flowered yet but have survived the winter outside.

Update: 1231 days 22hrs

Comments: -

Plant arrived in Feb 2020 in great condition with soil still damp. Will plant this into a pot after 1-2 weeks outside and provide updates.

May 2020 - Has put on a reasonable amount of new growth. Trying to grow in pot - up a stake temporarily before a final place has been decided for it to grow on. Began flowering in April, set it's first fruit this May after hand pollination was attempted.

Passionfruit - Panama Sweet Gold (G)

Thewhitelily1's Edible Fruits
Update: 1688 days 21hrs

Comments: - Vine has finally started fruiting--looks like it wasn't getting enough sunlight in spring and autumn, as it's to the south of the house. 2020 we got beautiful sweet fruit where it had escaped up into the trees.

Fruiting Months May, June, July

Update: 1815 days 5hrs

Comments: -

Grows vigorously and has many flowers each year, but has not set a single fruit for over 5 years in spite of attempts at manual pollination and cross pollination with granadilla x lilikoi variety. Therefore have removed the plant.

Passionfruit - Enduro Goldl (Cutting) 8/10

Amanda's Edible Fruits
Update: 2085 days 20hrs

Comments: - This is a new hybrid variety here. Produces huge yellow fruits that have a lovely flavour and sweetness. Starts fruiting in it's first season and prolifically. The fruit did tend to take awhile to ripen though and many were affected by the rainy and cool weather in late Autumn/winter. The vine was in a spot that was probably not ideal for winter. I have started a new vine in a much warmer/drier and sunnier (for winter) spot and will see if this works better.

Planted: 2017

Sun/Shade: Full Sun

Pollination: Self Pollination

Fertiliser or Organics Used: Slow release organic chook manure pellets, a couple of small side dressing of potash in summer, sometimes Acid lovers fertiliser. Mostly try not to overdo the nitrogen.

Passionfruit - Banana (Seedling) 8/10

Amanda's Edible Fruits
Update: 2089 days 5hrs

Comments: - Not as tasty as a real passionfruit - but I like them anyway. They fruit when not much else is around, here, so a welcome change from the usual early spring lack of fruit variety. They need a cool root run here and shade from midday onwards in our hot summers. Being so early they beat the fruit fly season also.

First Fruited: 1 Years from purchase in pot

Sun/Shade: Low Sun

Pruned By: 50% in

Pollination: Self Pollination

Fertiliser or Organics Used: Balanced Acid lovers alternating with slow release organic chook manure pellets. Little and often.
