Dwarf Plum Gulf Gold Tree (G) (Grafted) 5/10 Edward3's Edible FruitsUpdate: 3314 days 7hrs Comments: - Very attractive little tree, bearing largish yellow plums. These ripen later than Gulf Ruby and taste reasonably good provided you wait till fully ripe. In second year producing 30 plums even though its partner Gulfruby did not flower this year, so it looks like it's self-pollinating well. But overall the taste was not sufficiently satisfying and so removed the tree. Fruiting Months December Planted: 2008 Height 1 metres Growing: In the Ground Qty: 1 Fruit Harvest: 20 Fruit Per Year First Fruited: 1 Years from purchase in pot Sun/Shade: Full Sun Pruned By: 30% in Pollination: Cross Pollination Cross Pollinator Variety: Gulf Ruby When I Fertilise: Never Pest Control: Early bearing so no fruit fly problems. No other pests encountered, so no spray needed. Organic Status:Organic Was this review helpful? Yes | No | Report 3 of 3 people found this review useful |
