This is one of those forgotton trees. I read once how difficult it was to make coffee grounds so I just let it go. I now have renewed vigure in this tree and will get some TLC it rightly deserves. Summer 2011: FIRST FLOWERS! So excited. They are hard to see because they are down at the base of the leaves along the branches but they are there! Fingers crossed for some fruit!!! I had always been told that they were highly fragrant. I haven't noticed any particular smell but with all the rain it could easily have been washed away.
