Mango - Schneider\'s Pride

Zeni's Edible Fruits
Update: 5374 days 11hrs

Comments: -

I didn't water regularly long enough for it to establish well and then the drought got it. I have no idea how I would get another one as I bought this just as Mr Schneider retired and closed his nursery.

Dwarf Mango - Bowen 7/10

Emma1's Edible Fruits
Update: 5011 days 7hrs

Comments: -

Love mangoes but don't want a large tree. Unfortunately it is affected by fungus and all the new growth is crinkley. I don't like using sprays but I think I will be forced to to get any fruit out of this one.

Planted: 2010

Height 1 metres

Growing: In a Pot

Qty: 1

Sun/Shade: Medium Sun

Pollination: No

Question:

Any suggestions for a "less toxic" (I don't believe in organic!) fungicide before I spray on Mancozeb?

Finger lime - Rainforest pearl

MakJeng1's Edible Fruits
Update: 5210 days 16hrs

Comments: -

My plant is struggling. Semi-deciduous?

Jan-2010 it did not make it through the very dry period before recent flooding rain, despite weekly watering. My conclusion is that the soil was too well drained and maybe not sufficiently rich in organic matter. Nearby ornamental natives are thriving.

Lovely picture Fred. Is there a secret to getting more fruits from my mango trees?
Fred1 says... [5015 days 10hrs ago]
I am no green thumb - prune the trees after fruiting [for manageable size] - are under irrigation three times a week - but after the lorikeets and the fruit bats, we do seem to get a few mangos

Hey BJ, can I ask how big your Alison Red is, assuming it's still in the pot? Guessing you have it in the pot to restrict it's size?
