peach \'elberta\' (Grafted) 4/10Sheree's Edible FruitsUpdate: 5820 days 23hrs Comments: - Couldn't leave this one at the nursery! absolutely covered in flowers and a great framework. However, I'm yet to see any flowers myself. I have an Angel peach which I assumed would improve pollination, I'll have to keep an eye on this one. Height 1.5 metres Growing: In a Pot Qty: 1 Sun/Shade: Full Sun Water Given in: Spring Pollination: Cross Pollination Pest Control: Needs copper spray and spinosad for fruit flys Organic Status:Partially Organic Was this review helpful? Dwarf Peach (Seedling) 1010501's Edible FruitsUpdate: 1729 days 17hrs Comments: - Plant arrived in Feb 2020 in great condition with soil still damp. Will plant this into a pot after 1-2 weeks outside and provide updates. May 2020 - Was mildly sunburnt just after purchase and potting. Although it arrived full and bushy the tree has gradually dropped most of its leaves - perhaps due to the sunburn or winter approaching (if Apr-May isn't too early for this). It is still holding onto a few leaves and beginning to produce new ones - just looking a little straggly currently (photo uploaded). September 2021 - Has grown (branched) but remains a compact ~30cm height. Flowered for the first time this August - nil fruit set. Suffering from some peach leaf curl - however not on a high percentage of leaves. Currently in 20L pot. Planted: 2020 Growing: In a Pot Qty: 1 Sun/Shade: Medium Sun Pollination: Self Pollination Was this review helpful? Yes | No | Report 3 of 9 people found this review useful |

Dwarf Peach (Grafted) Kowe76's Edible FruitsUpdate: 5745 days 24hrs Comments: - I enjoy this dwarf peach tree because it can be grown in a pot. I rent, so can't put anything in the ground. A compact plant is important to me. What is more important is self sufficiency. Though the plant won't feed a family. It makes me proud every year it produces fruit. It is one less peach I buy from the supermarket. This is the first year I have had a very productive crop. I have taken the time this year and fertilised abd maintained it, now I am receiving the reward for my hard work - a lot of fruit. Have to cover them at night though, as I have possums living near by. Planted: 2006 Growing: In a Pot Qty: 1 Fruit Harvest: 30 Fruit Per Year First Fruited: 2 Years from purchase in pot Sun/Shade: Full Sun Water Given in: Autumn After FruitingPollination: No Fertiliser or Organics Used: Yates all purpose When I Fertilise: When Fruiting Pest Control:

Dwarf Peach - Standard (Grafted) 10/10 DesKing1's Edible FruitsUpdate: 3073 days 17hrs Comments: - Planted in a raised bed with full sun in late Jan 2017 (Gold Coast). Broke dormancy in late August, and produced eight attractive pink flowers. I allowed these to form small pea-sized fruit, then removed so the tree could put all its energy into establishing a strong root structure. The raised bed has a thick layer of cane mulch (about 150mm). I fertilize with varying ratios and amounts of Dynamic LIfter or Rooster Booster, sulphate of potash and blood and bone at the beginning of spring, summer and autumn. I also give fortnightly foliar sprays of a diluted solution of Seasol, Powerfeed for flowers and fruit, soluble sulphate of potash, and Epsom salts during the non-dormant months. I use a moisture meter, and water the tree as necessary. In the past year (to Jan 2018) the tree has grown really well (about 850mm tall), and this year I'll let it develop a few fruit for us to taste. I'll give it a bit of a haircut during winter when dormant. Planted: 2017 Height 85 Centimetres Growing: In the Ground Qty: 1 First Fruited: 9 Months from Purchase in Pot Sun/Shade: Full Sun Pollination: Self Pollination Pest Control: Occasional Eco-Neem spray. Copper spray during dormancy. Will be covered in an exclusion net when fruiting. Organic Status:Partially Organic Was this review helpful? Yes | No | Report 6 of 10 people found this review useful |
