I've seed the trees used as an ornament in Japan so waiting so see what happens. Apparently they also set edible although small fruit. Doesn't appear to love either the spot, soil or climate (my Kazake pomegranate is right next to it, and is thriving??). Am not expecting any fruit yet, as only second year. Lost all leaves in Brisbane Winter but has come back nicely through sping and summer. starting to prune now. Sorry - difficult to see in the pic.
