Grow these on a water tank with wire as a support. the Large thermal mass of the water stops the frost killing them.

Beware of slugs/smails ringbarking them! A bit of wood ash around the trunk helps.

This has not been a great success story to date - I have hardly had any fruit off it, and bought a new passionfruit this year to replace it... and now the original one is loaded with fruit! (My grandfather maintained that "Sunnypash" was better than Nelly Kelly, but I haven't been able to find a Sunnypash.)

Absolutely thriving, holy smokes, I planted this in a raised bed with three other passionfruit varieties thinking "see how they go", bought them on clearance in poor health. Well. Now they are overtaking the fence and so very bushy and dense and healthy. A much prettier sight than the bare wire fence. We are thrilled. So easy to grow!
