Black Sapote, not sure what Cultivar.  growing ok, although some older leaves are starting to yellow, this could be because it needs a bigger pot, or may need Magnesium,  I will try magnesium first then transplant.  this plant is small, and do not expect fruit for at least 2 years.

I do not know but it seemed to react badly to Adealide's climate. Leaves fell off at the slightest chill and burnt in the 40deg summer heat. So it struggled over a summer and winter with lots of TLC and shade cloth but in the end died.

Other Comments:  This was a very poor performing tree and extremely sensitive to the cold.  I removed in about March 2009 and replaced with a grafted variety whcih is doing much better.  Plant seems to be responding in pot.

I worried about my sapote at first and molly coddled it for a while but it is doing quiet well so far, I have it protected with shade cloth in the chook yard, so the chooks are keeping weeds and bugs at bay, the only worry I have is the heat and the wind, (it can get very hot and windy here), it is watered by reticulation daily and mulched well.
