A medium sized shade tree with a rounded bushy crown of leathery dark green, glossy leaves, grey and felty beneath with wavy edges. Limp new growth is soft lime green in contrast with the mature leaves and very striking. Dense clusters of small white scented flowers followed by brown to reddish, fleshy fruit containing dark brown, shiny seeds. Plant in fertile, mulched soils and keep plants well watered during dry periods. An attractive background foliage plant or specimen and successful tub plant.
