Very Crunchy variety with light coloured kernal. What you are chasing for is the lighter colour. eg the whiter the kernal the sweeter. So my ones are a very sweet nut and not that bitter.

They are easy to crack and get into, Very enjoyable.

Not really sure what variety they are - we inherited them with the property. These are a lovely fruit -On their own they are really nice to - both our kids enjoyed them as a soft, baby food-like alternative when they were smaller).  They are also great with ice cream or in a smoothy or muffin mix.  However, my favourite way of eating them is to cut them horozontally around the middle seed section (this is how we always open them), then twist apart the 2 halves like an Avo. After scooping out the seed section, pop a healthy scoop of ice cream into the two remaining hollows and enjoy!

High Quality, excellent quality bright red, small seed. This is a variety you won't get in supermarkets due to the very high demand. They are often bought as presents for chinese new year.
