An evergreen perennial herb with fleshy green leaves
which am mildly sour with a taste of lemon. The leaves can be cooked like spinach or made into soup while fresh leaves can be added to salads. Thrives in moist, well drained soil in a sunny to partly shaded position. Remove flower stems to promote leaf growth.
