CarobLinnie's Edible FruitsUpdate: 5137 days 10hrs Comments: - I bought one little plant a few years ago... It is still alive, and it is still little! Because I know it more than likely won't offer up pods without lots more carobs nearby to pollinate it, and then it may well get fungus on the pods because we get too much humidity, I haven't spoilt it very much. One day I will get it some friends, though, to give it a fighting chance... For those who can grow them, I think carob pods are delicious...as well as nutritious. (Fresh pods can sometimes be found the Lebanese Hot NUT type bars/grocery shops.)
