nectarine Cel & Les's Edible FruitsUpdate: 1301 days 10hrs Comments: - Tree is nearly 4 yrs old. Growing and fruiting beautifully. Planted on mound and mulched (not too close to trunk). Sun/Shade: Full Sun Pest Control: Copper spray before leaves appear in late winter. Fruit fly splash or spray if required. Monitor with traps. Question: Even though tree is looking healthy and fruit is growing well the trunk has started oozing silicone looking gum. There was no apparent damage to trunk.
