The variety Biloxi was developed as a pollinator for Misty in Mississippi, for early season areas. One of the parents of this variety is Sharpeblue. In early trial plantings on the North Coast, it has fruited well with large medium flavoured berries early, but the fruit size drops off towards the end of the season. The fruit is light blue, with a mottled bloom appearance. It is of average flavour, with a medium scar and firm fruit. So far, in trial plantings, Biloxi has a habit of producing late spring flowering and a second harvest, during January and February.
Ceratopetalum gummifera - NSW Xmas Bush
A delightful shrub used for cut flowers and ornamental plantings. Masses of red flower like bracts cover the trees in December. Likes well drained soil.
Hovea acutifolia - Purple Pea Bush
A small to medium evergreen Australian shrub that gets small 1cm purple flowers in Aug to Sep. Leaves are green on top with a golden brown underside.
Banksia integrifolia - Coastal Banksia
This bush has large dull-green leaves that are white underneath. Flowers are yellow with thick dense spikes and strongly scented. Performs well on poorly drained sandy sites.
Blueberry - Misty
The Misty is a true enigma, in that where it grows vigorously, such as on the red kraznozem soils of Northern NSW, it is very profitable and popular, yet on other soils it has often not grown well and is not a variety of popular choice. To produce high quality, early fruit, Misty is best grown under the evergreen system with attention being paid to nutrition and leaf diseases in order to keep the older leaves. It is an early fruiting variety, with light blue, medium to large fruit of excellent flavour.

Blueberry - Brightwell
Vigorous, upright plant, which produces outstanding yields of medium-sized fruit. Rabbiteyes are hardy and well suited to the subtropics. It ripens early to midseason.
Blueberry - Powderblue
One of the toughest blueberry varieties. It is a late season variety that may be planted with Tifblue for good cross-pollination. It can be mechanically harvested for fresh fruit, and the fruit has a very attractive pale blue colour, is medium in firmness and medium in size.

A small to medium rainforest tree with striking bright white fruit that is produced during autumn and winter. A good food source for birds and can be eaten by humans, although they are quite acid. The leaves emit a pleasant smell when crushed. 12m

Jaboticaba
The jaboticabas habit of producing the fruit directly on the trunk makes this a striking tree. Fruit is similar to a grape with a sweet and aromatic flavour. The new coppery growth makes it a very ornamental tree. Bears heavy crops of quality fruit that can be eaten fresh from the tree.

A dwarf coffee selection suitable for handpicking. Makes an ideal selection for growing in a pot as an ornamental. Prolific cropper of quality roasting beans.
Leptospermum Pink Cascade
Low, spreading dense shrub growing to 0.5m tall with a spread of 1m. The branchlets have an arching habit. The new growth is bright red. Pink flowers are borne in dense masses along the stems. Main flowering periods are spring and autumn, with some flowers found all year round.
Natal Plum
Ornamental shrub with fragrant flowers and edible plum like fruit. With its sharp spines or thorns, Natal plum makes a very effective and almost impenetrable hedge.

Medium to large, oval fruit. Flavor very pleasant, quality excellent. Ripens mid to late-season. The tree is upright, spreading, tall, vigorous and productive. Feijoa is also referred to as pineapple guava, which are very ornamental with attractive red flowers in spring.

Pear-shaped fruit, with yellow skin, thick, pale-yellowish flesh surrounding the white central pulp, slightly strawberry-like flavor. It contains numerous small, hard seeds and is quite firm even when fully ripe.

Grumichama - Black
The tropical equivalent of the cherry. The purplish-black fruit 2cm diameter are produced in clusters. Flesh white, melting and tasty. Mostly used for fresh eating, but also highly prized for jams, jellies and pies.

A magnificent salmon coloured flowerering grevillea. A hybrid between QLD Grev. banksii and WA Grev. bipinnatifoda. Flowers open in succession giving a long flowering time. Grows to 2mtrs and is moderatly frost hardy.
Acerola Cherry - Florida Sweet
Heavy cropper of cherry like fruit. When fully ripe the fruit is juicy and aromatic with its acid content giving it a sweet acid apple-like flavour. Fruits are extreemly high in vitamin c. Attactive pink flowers make this a very ornamental shrub.
Heath Banksia
Extremely hardy distinctive shrub with fine heath-like foliage striking orange-red flower spikes in spring. Prefers well drained soils in full sun maintaining compact growth when pruned. Flowers attract nectar eating birds and are good for cut flowers. Useful screening hedge plant.
Native Rosemary
It is an easily grown shrub of simple and neat appearance which grows wild near the coast of NSW. White flowers dot the shapely plants. Growth is naturally stiff. It maintains a good condition for years.

Syzygium luehmanii - Riberry
The small leaved lilly pilly produces masses of red pear shaped fruit. Its handsome purple-red growth makes this lilly pilly one of the favourites. The fruit exhibits a juicy but slightly acidic clove-like finish reminiscent of cinnamon. It is a very popular ingredient in wildfood dishes.
Feijoa - Unique
This is a self fertile cultivar from New Zealand. It a small productive, vigorous tree growing to about 2.5m making it ideal for smaller back yards. Flesh is smooth and of good flavour, fruits are early to ripen. Performs well in cooler areas.

Guava Yellow Cherry
This is the mildest and probably the sweetest guava of all. Fruits are 3cm in diameter yellow skinned with a sweet, aromatic, creamy flesh and numerous small seeds. Begins bearing when less than 1 meter high. Prolific bearer.

Large Oval - A sweet fruit and as the name suggests of oval shape and good size. Good quality. Self-fertile but will produce heavier crops when cross-pollinated.

This fruit is the tropical equivalent of the cherry and just as difficult to resist. The fruit is borne in clusters and is delicious eaten fresh. The yellow form is almost identical to the dark form apart from the yellow fruit.
