Question: Little information about GROWTH RATE available. I want a Bacon & a Reed but one has to be a screening plant to screen out neighbour. Which one? I cannot find this information anywhere and hoping somebody out there can provide clarification. Thanks | Michael J - Copacabana, NSW

Edward3's Edible Fruits
Update: 1907 days 11hrs

Comments: -

Tree is very susceptible to sun scald during hot summer days in Sydney when temperatures exceed 35 deg C. Causes leaf and branch dieback. Have now removed the tree because it continued to die back in hot weather.

Dwarf Avocado - Wurtz (A) (Grafted) 10/10

Maxzoo's Edible Fruits
Update: 2015 days 6hrs

Comments: -  Small size. Photo taken a year after planting- it has grown alot and definitely changed shape. It is a bit weepy compared to others. I picked the flowers off this year, maybe next year I will leave them on. I have an earth bag underneath it that drip waterers it most of the time and it seems happy. I have had a shade cloth over it but it seems happy enough without it on- no real sunburning or wilting going on yet (its only spring now..)

Comments: - Cold tolerant second choice for B, though I've read somewhere the taste is better than the bacon, the bacon offers better cold tolerance.
