Peach - Angel Subtropical PBR (Grafted) 10/10![]() Update: 821 days 3hrs Comments: - This has been grafted to a tree as a "double graft" with a White Satin nectarine. Both species do not require a cross-pollinating partner, so this was simply a space-saving way to cram more food types into the yard. I am so happy with it! It flowered and "fruited" already technically, but dropped all its fruit as it really is far too young and small to be bearing fruit. However it did everything perfectly, so maybe this year or next year we will start to see the pay off and its "practice run" kept the local bees happy. Still in a large grow pot while we work out where to install it! Height 1.5 metres Growing: In a Pot Qty: 1 First Fruited: 6 Months from Purchase in Pot Sun/Shade: Full Sun Pollination: Self Pollination Fertiliser or Organics Used: Dynamic lifter When I Fertilise: Yearly Was this review helpful? Dwarf Peach (Seedling)![]() Update: 1349 days 21hrs Comments: - Plant arrived in Feb 2020 in great condition with soil still damp. Will plant this into a pot after 1-2 weeks outside and provide updates. May 2020 - Was mildly sunburnt just after purchase and potting. Although it arrived full and bushy the tree has gradually dropped most of its leaves - perhaps due to the sunburn or winter approaching (if Apr-May isn't too early for this). It is still holding onto a few leaves and beginning to produce new ones - just looking a little straggly currently (photo uploaded). September 2021 - Has grown (branched) but remains a compact ~30cm height. Flowered for the first time this August - nil fruit set. Suffering from some peach leaf curl - however not on a high percentage of leaves. Currently in 20L pot. Yes | No | Report 4 of 9 people found this review useful Commentssandy31 says... [2728 days 2hrs ago]Plethora of flowers but only 1-2 fruit set. This is year i only got 2 Peaches, they both are VERY BIG and exceptional quality My garden is Bee friendly and has many bee attracting plants and shrubs. Also fruit trees next to it ( Gulf gold Plum and Angel low chill peach ) they all get a heavy fruit set. so i am not concerned about pollination or pollinators. I do administer Winter dormancy spray ,when tree is dormant, with LIME SULFUR once every year but only when its dormant and not when in bud break or bloom. not sure why i may have a poor fruit set despite plethora of blooms ?sandy31 says... But the fruit taste AMAZING, what i can salvaged This year again heavy fruit, AND i neeteed it fully. Hopefully no fruit flies.sandy31 says... [2982 days 18hrs ago] Tree died... had peach leaf curl. After harvesting the fruit 30 approx all were full of maggots. I noticed tree has shed lot of leaves and die back plus dead branches. Not sure was it coz of netting. I prunned the dead bits... And hoped it will bounce back. But it never recovered. Thinking of buying one more....sandy31 says... Peachcot Ora A (Grafted) 8/10![]() Update: 2290 days 19hrs Comments: - Espaliered, not sure if that or vase shape will work best yet as planted 6 months ago. Awarded with two fruit for taste test in first year - sweeter than apricot but not as strong as some peaches and doesn't go sour on multiple chews. The stone was small compared to the fruit - a winner in my eyes. Must bag fruit to protect from fruit fruit fly - I knew this before I purchased the plant. Grows quickly.
