this grows quickly, has branches from ground level and is also called the pineapple guava. I planted it for a kiwi friend who misses them from home. It hasnt fruited yet but it grew so well I planted a mixed guava hedge along my side fence. If I can keep my hubby away from the wippersnipper it will look good (it currently has 4 gaps!)

The trees have beautiful foliage and the tree is very hardy. I originally had 5, two which I bought from bunnings and three from a local nursery. I am not sure what type any are. The two from bunnings do not seem to be doing as well as the other three.

Feijoa - Apollo (Cutting) 10/10

Emma1's Edible Fruits
Update: 5426 days 19hrs

Comments: -

I bought 4 plants because I needed a low bush with nice folliage and fruit and flowers are a bonus. The decription of a pineapple-strawberry flavour sounded fantastic, but when I finally tasted some from the shops it tasted like sweetish mouldy cardboard. Lets hope if I eventually get fruit they will taste better! At least the plants a very hardy and have tolerated some very dry conditions where they are.
