[5128 days 17hrs ago]did you try a sunshine special? they seem to do well in WA. my theory is these are a bit finicky. when one goes, it will go nuts. I just planted 2 (panama red and gold) up the same fence a sunshine special is on. will be interesting to see what happensKathK says... [4194 days 4hrs ago] you need two lambs fry. bury one under your passionfruit as you plant it. lambs fry water is brilliant for the passionfruit = lambs fry water is what you soak the lambs fry in before you peel it. dont waste the second lambs fry - re-learn the great taste of lambs fry and onions. feed the plant with liver water onece or twice a year and things will improve.* You need your own My Edibles Page to contribute Quick & Easy |

Passionfruit - Enduro Goldl (Cutting) 8/10![]() Update: 2189 days 20hrs Comments: - This is a new hybrid variety here. Produces huge yellow fruits that have a lovely flavour and sweetness. Starts fruiting in it's first season and prolifically. The fruit did tend to take awhile to ripen though and many were affected by the rainy and cool weather in late Autumn/winter. The vine was in a spot that was probably not ideal for winter. I have started a new vine in a much warmer/drier and sunnier (for winter) spot and will see if this works better. Planted: 2017 Sun/Shade: Full Sun Pollination: Self Pollination Fertiliser or Organics Used: Slow release organic chook manure pellets, a couple of small side dressing of potash in summer, sometimes Acid lovers fertiliser. Mostly try not to overdo the nitrogen. Was this review helpful? Yes | No | Report 6 of 17 people found this review useful* You need your own My Edibles Page to contribute Quick & Easy ![]() |

passionfruit - nelly kelly (Grafted)Igor1's Edible FruitsUpdate: 5744 days 6hrs Comments: - Grow these on a water tank with wire as a support. the Large thermal mass of the water stops the frost killing them. Beware of slugs/smails ringbarking them! A bit of wood ash around the trunk helps. Was this review helpful? Passionfruit - Panama Perfection 10/10![]() Update: 807 days 4hrs Comments: - Absolutely thriving, holy smokes, I planted this in a raised bed with three other passionfruit varieties thinking "see how they go", bought them on clearance in poor health. Well. Now they are overtaking the fence and so very bushy and dense and healthy. A much prettier sight than the bare wire fence. We are thrilled. So easy to grow! Passionfruit - \"Nelly Kelly\" (Grafted) 9/10![]() Update: 3882 days 4hrs Comments: - EDIT 2013 Was going fantastically, but neighbou're mother decided it had to die... Was a good variety, well worth growing, great tasting Going great, reasonable amount of fruit on right now, waiting for them to ripen. Am also getting the neighbours into the swing of things by training it over to thier side as well to share it, and once they see how much fun that is, will be adding more berries etc to fence. This will also give it more afternoon sun. Had an initial problem of rootstock going rampant over it, but that was just laziness. Have since taken several bits of rootstock with roots and potted them up, and am about to graft some upper scions of this onto them.
